Ethernet switch to GSM modem

Dear Roger,

For your information, I already setup one system via GSM modem using DT80. this system actually communicate via using Ethernet wireless network.

So every minute, i will get real-time data from every site. My question is, if my network down, can DT80 automatically switch to GSM modem? So I can get the data as usual.

If u have any special command to do that, plz tell me.. because i couldn't find it... tq

Good morning Jamil,

There is no automatic method for changing command port on dataTaker. If you network goes down then dial in to the GSM modem and the data will go to the modem.

Note you can be connected to the Ethernet and the modem at the same time if you wish.

Cheers,
Roger
