Reading HMP50

Dear Sir,

I'm now using DT85 for data logging. I got problem and cannot get reading when I connect Vaisala HMP-50 humidity and temperature probe to DT85.

I used DT85 only since one month ago and I'm quite new. Can anyone help me about this problem? Both physical installation and software programming.

Best regards,
Rio

Hi Rio,

Which version do you have? The wiring is

  • Brown = power (7 to 28 VDC)
  • White = output 1. 0 to 100 %RH(Voltage level will depend on the model)
  • Blue = power and signal ground.
  • Black = output 2. -40 to +60 DegC (Voltage level will depend on the model)

For this wiring you should use a shared input and read the channels as a Voltage.
Scale the inputs from voltage to temperature and humidity then apply the scaling and label the channels

When we know the output Voltage range for you sensor we can finish off the details.

Cheers,
Roger

Hi Roger,

I'm using DT-85 series2. The sensor output voltage range's 0 to 1.0 Vdc.

Hi Rio

The scaling for the sensor should be:
s1=0,100,0,1000"%RH"
s2=-40,60,0,1000"DegC"

Cheers,
Roger
