Failed specification during calibration

I'm currently working on a 4 channels DT80 that is reading too low on the 10 ohm range. Is there a layout of the 4 internal variable resistors available? I'd prefer to not have to do the trial and error method, I haven't found anything in the available manuals.

Good morning Jeff,

DO NOT adjust any of the trim pots in DT80. There are no user adjustable settings in DT80 series loggers and nothing that will assist with your low readings on the 10 Ohm range

How low is the DT80 reading on the 10 Ohm range? If the DT80 readings are out of specification then the logger will need to be return the unit for factory calibration.

Cheers,
Roger

It was reading 9.9809 Ohms (Ch1) with 10.000505 Ohms applied (Fluke 5700A in cal cycle in a temp controlled calibration lab). Channels 2 - 4 read similar. According to the specifications listed in the manual the tolerance is 0.1% and I am getting 0.196%.

The bad news, the trimmers some how got tweaked, and now....

Good morning Jeff,

Have you tested this with the calibrator ground connected to the Digital ground on the DT80? As for tweaking the pots return for service...

Cheers,
Roger
