We have a number of DT80's in the field, the people that previously setup DT80's are no longer available. Is there a way to automate the collection of the running code (not the data) from the DT80's so I can get the field crews to recover the code?

If there is a job running in the dataTaker you can recover the dataTaker code by putting this this code in a file called ONINSERT.DXC

SAttn;Servicedata "A:\Service Report.TXT";RemoveMedia;CAttn

(Note: You MUST have a carriage return at the end of the line

Save this file to a USB memory device, you will need one USB device for each DT80. When the USB device is put in the DT80 it will turn on the Attention LED, create a service report , close all the files correctly then turn of the LED when finished.

We use the ONINSERT to auto download the data so it looks like this should work.
