I recently purchased a DT80 series 2 datataker, the seller did the installations for me on my laptop. At first i managed to go through the part 1 training exercise.

Later i could not manage to go over the exercise. From the laptop the information i get is:

Warning: could not open serial port 
Warning could not detect baud rate for serial part

How can i resolve this?

Good morning mahambah,

If you have been using the logger then we know the drivers have been installed correctly. When using a USB connection please make sure you always plug into the USB same port on the computer.

If you plug into a different port then it will have a different port number and return the error you are getting. If you do change ports then you will have to change the port number in the connection definition.
