CEM20 and T type thermocouple

Good morning!

I use DT80 + CEM20. I want to measure a temperature with a thermocouple type T linked in CEM20. I have the following error: 8e9. What I'm suppose to do to cancel this error ?

Best regard,
Junior

Good morning Junior,

If DT80 is returning a reference error, please check:

  • The address is set correctly on the CEM20
  • CEM20 is connected to the DT80 correctly.
  • Check you cables are not damaged and continuity is correct.

Cheers,
Roger

Good morning Roger!

Thank you for your answer!!! I've completed all your recommendations, I checked everything, but the "reference error" still there. When I removed the measurement cable on DT80, the output goes out of range (99999.99).

When I do the same thing on CEM20, it's stay always on the reference error. I think it's a malfunctioning CEM20 but I'm not sure at all.

Please, give me your lights!!!

Best regard,
Junior
