Is there a way to adjust the LCD contrast? One of our units has a very dim display (no contrast) the backlight is working fine and I can just make out the word reset on startup but the display it too weak to read.

There is no adjustment for contrast. However the displays do have problems at very low temperatures otherwise they are just black writing.

If it is a problem you should consider having the unit returned for service.
