Take reading using keypad

Hi,

I have a DT80. Is it possible to run a Job once by selecting an option from the front panel LCD menu? I have a job that will be scheduled to run every hour but when I am in the field installing the prob I would like to run the job on request to mount the prob at the correct height.

I don't want to stop the configured job from running at the right time and don't need to record the reading, only display it on the LCD. Is this possible?

Thanks,
Lee

Good afternoon Lee,

You can poll (force) a schedule to take a single reading at any time. For example if you have two schedules running (Schedule A and schedule B) you can poll schedule A by sending the command XA and XB to poll schedule B etc.

The function keys can be programmed by adding commands to the Profile settings. So to program function 1 to poll schedule A add the commands:

Profile Function F1_Lable="Sample A"
Profile Function F1_Command="XA"

Cheers,
Roger
