SDI12 v1.3, using aM! instead of aC!

Hi,

I want to use DT82E for data acquisition. My sensor support SDI-12 v.1.3 and have two registers set for aM! & aC! commands. Needed data returned only with aM9! command, but your logger uses aC! command as default. How can I switch it to use aM!?

Thanks in advance.

Good morning Kirill,

The aC! (concurrent measurements) command was introduced in SDI12 v1.2 and is included in v1.3.

If your sensors doesn't include these commands then the sensors are not fully complaint with the SDI-12 standard. At this stage there is nothing we can do to read sensors that don't fully implement the requirements of the SDI12 standard.

However to change the polling syntax to aM! then you need to use VER10 option in the syntax because aM! belong to SDI v1.0, example: 5SDI12(AD0,R101,VER10).

Cheers,
Roger
