Using GPRS to access embedded web page

Hi Guys

Do you have any experience with this? What modem you use? I am worried that even in 3G network, accessing DT80 embedded webpage would be too bandwidth intensive. Your thoughts?

Advance thanks.

Good afternoon Orange,

We have just released in Australia and the USA a range of DT80's with an embedded 2G/3G modem. The web page work quite well and doesn't suffer from band width problems.

Our testing shows that sending FTP data (50 channels every 5 seconds) the data transfer would be about 325 MB per month. 10 channel every 5 minutes would only be 1.5 MB per month.

But it will also depend on your application and communications access.

Cheers,
Roger
