Hi all,

I've a DT80 Series2 (with firmware 8.08.0001) and I've a problem with the DT FTP Server. I've tried two different FTP clients (winscp and scriptftp) and the result is the same, the ftp client reaches the DT80, go to the given path but doesn't find the DBD file.

I've also debug the FTP process (with P56=8) and all seems ok, but when the client tries to get the file the connection is closed.

150 File status okay; about to open data connection. 
226 Closing data connection. Transfer succeeded

Can you help me? Which FTP client do you advice? Another important thing is that I can get the file with MS-DOS ftp, with Firefox and with Windows Explorer, but I need to make an automated file process.

1. File transfer
   I'm not sure of the question here, the diagnostics shows the file was transferred correctly so it should be on the server. the diagnostics would not show a successful transfer unless the FTP client sent confirmation of receiving the file.

2. Automation.
   You will need to write a program to automate the handling of the data. This will run on your client computer.

   It doesn't work. The ftp clients that I've tried connect to the DT FTP server and after change the directory, they tried a LIST command and after that they disconnect the session without transfer the .DBD file

2. I already have an automatic (script) process in WinSCP but don�t work.

I think that I've read in the forum that there is a bug with the FTP Server of the DT with some "fast" ftp clients, so my question for the forum is which FTP client do you use to interact with DT FTP Server.

Good afternoon mserrao,

There was a bug in the early version of firmware that was fixed quite some time. The FTP implemented only uses basic commands and so should work with any client. There have been no other reports of any problem with particular packages.
