Memory loss

Recently I was out in the field recording data and then i came back to retrieve the data off of DT80. When I connected dataTaker back to the computer, dEX program informed me that there is no data to retrieve since there is currently no job present.

Somehow during the travel between the two location all of the data and program stored on the logger has been erased. My question is what might have caused this and how can i prevent this from happening again.

Thanks,
Ben Giles

Good morning Ben,

The most likely cause would be the logger was reset (probably power loss) and the job wasn't set to run on reset. If your DT80 has old firmware in it then please upgrade

If it has the current firmware please check the profile Start is set to run either the current job or the name of your job

Cheers,
Roger
