SW EXCEPTION error

Hi, i was trying different schedule triggers and i went from 100T to 50T and to 5T. At this point the data taker command window froze. I rebooted the web based command window and the i did delalljobs.
The data taker restarted and then an error pn the display of the data taker came ok, which is SW exception.
Though it says no current job i can't schedule another one because it says the untitled job has alarms.
So the delalljobs did not succesfully work.
What exactly is this SW exception?
Is there any other way i can do this removal of all the jobs?

Thanks!

Hi Gabriel,

Sorry for late response.

Although 5 ms interval is possible in the syntax, in reality DT can't run that fast. If you have series 4 logger the fastest speed would be 25 ms.

Thus with 5 ms rate, it is the same as DT running at full speed (continuous schedule. Sometimes it may froze other function in the logger.

You also mention that DELALLJOBS failed with SW exception, this is an issue with firmware 9.22. I believe you set your program with more than 30 MB allocation in total, as that firmware version has a timeout function it will reject any action that last for particular range including DELALLJOBS.

Unfortunately in this case you have to reformat the logger (FORMAT B: DELETEALL) and reinstall the firmware then make sure to use less than 30 MB.
Or you can downgrade the firmware to 9.20 which then followed with DELALLJOBS.

When New firmware is available to fix this 30MB limit issue?
