25ms trigger schedule

Hello all,

I would like to log data with the faster schedule. I saw on the forum that the faster is 25ms with some special parameters

_"If you have series 3 logger, 100 ms rate is not possible for 3 channels because the fastest rate would be 40 ms per 1 channel. But if you have series 4 logger, you can set 100 ms rate (fastest speed 25 ms/ channel).

Please note to get into the fastest speed, you will need to enable few setting, i.e: auto calibration off (\k) or raising the bar for calibration level (P0=5), enable analog circuit (P21=1), increasing frequency filter (P11=1000), reducing channel delay (MD5)."_

I have a serie 4 logger and i set the parameters as described.
I log only on 1 analog input - voltage measurement - on the internal drive

It's working (I have log every 35ms and not 25ms) but I still have an issue. Every 7 logs, I have one longer step of 200-250ms.

Do you have an idea how to solve that ?

Hi desenfans,

Series 4 logger has one additional parameters to reach maximum sampling rate:

  • P64=0, this parameter has default value of 5 represent 5 ms time for moving from one relay to the next.

Other than that you may try to disable auto calibration (switch K - PROFILE PARAMETERS K=OFF), or increase the calibration level. A normal calibration level is P0=3 which represent 3uV difference (on internal parameter) to trigger an internal calibration. You can increase it to 25 to make internal calibration less frequent.

That calibration is the reason you have an extra 200 - 250 ms.

Best regards,
Rudy Gunawan
