internal temp

Hello,
I am using a DT82E and I was wondering if there was a way to display/report the loggers internal temperature or tell what it is using as a cold junction compensation temperature for thermocouples. I am looking at the mV output and it must be compensating for the cold junction temperature, but I cannot tell where or how.

Hi Rheniumjoe,

You can use internal temperature channel REFT to get cold junction temperature. That channel reflects the temperature of copper track near the terminal behind analog terminal 2 which indirectly reflect junction temperature.
