The sensor will need to use the 5-25V pin and shield pin (sensor) to power it up; you can use 24V or any power sources within that range.
Then you have to connect the pulse pin (sensor) to 1D (logger) and shield pin (sensor) to DGND (logger), use a low-speed counter.
Or, instead of 1D, you can use a 1C pin (logger) and use a high-speed counter.
