Wiring scheme for flowmeter

Hello there,
I need a simple wiring scheme for flowmeter MES 20 to Datataker DT85GM
It should have 3 wires (Pulse, 5-25V positive, and shield).

Do I need external 24V power source and, if needed, how do I connect it?

Many thanks.
Peter

Hi Thuc,

The sensor will need to use the 5-25V pin and shield pin (sensor) to power it up; you can use 24V or any power sources within that range.

Then you have to connect the pulse pin (sensor) to 1D (logger) and shield pin (sensor) to DGND (logger), use a low-speed counter.

Or, instead of 1D, you can use a 1C pin (logger) and use a high-speed counter.

Best regards,
Rudy Gunawan
