DT80 Series 3 - Serial Communication Issue

So I managed to update the firmware of a 2011 DT80 which had a previous version of 9.08. (DT80 Series 3 SN 092635

I have a RS485 half duplex device which I want to record its output via the TxZ and RTSY pins (A and B).

To my understanding, through dEX-2 I set the serial PROFILE SERSEN_PORT to have the following baud rate of 9600 8N1 mode RS485 function serial which is the same settings as my RS485 device.

When I add entry of either output or input and then I click Apply to Logger, I don't see any measurement outputs taking place to give indication that the DT80 is reading the output of the RS485 device.

How can I resolve this issue of not seeing RS485 outputs?

UPDATE: I managed to see my Device's outputs by putting the DT80 under SSDIRECT mode in which the continuous mode on my device connected to the DT80 is showing me the output that is not going through DT80.

However, I am still getting problems of when I want to begin logging this output ASCII data (basically, the raw data that is shown in SSDIRECT) 1SERIAL is giving me the error NotYETSet and I do not know what command line is it to enable me to see the raw data without any filtering or editing of the ouput.

Hi Hotim,

It is possible when you created the serial channel, you missed the schedule. Thus the channel was located under "On Activation" which will not run periodically. Please create the schedule first then have the channel created as part of the schedule member.

Can you please send a copy of your program for review to datataker.support@thermofisher.com?

Thanks.

Best regards,
