Hi,
We have some field instrument signals wired to Yokogawa DCS and want to push those values via Modbus to DT85 and then DT85 will upload on an FTP server to prevent DCS exposure to outside world from Cyber Security perspective. Is it something that is possible using DT85 as a Master?
In some other DT85 we have hardwired signals connected to DT85 and CEM20 modules, data logger is uploa

Hello,
How do I configure dEX-2 to talk to my DT85 over USB?
The serializer app finds the device and writes to it successfully, but how do setup the 'Add Device' screen in dEX-2?

Hi is there a way of having a mimic whereby you can input a value into a cv channel that can be used to change alarm values to avoid having to change values via the program config page as there is a number of alarms which makes it more difficult to config all in config section

Hi,
I would like to trigger DataLogger over telnet connection to start data capture, and after defined period of time 10 min for example, DataTaker should save this 10min period data back to ftp server for example.

Hi,
I need to set up two PLCs to read data from DT85LM3-4 via Modbus TCP/IP. When both PLCs try to read data, only one works. Is it possible to set this up, or shall I try another solution?
Best regards,

Hi there,
I've got a DT85G series3 and a external 3G Modem onsite , it is logging data fine, but the communication is working temperamentally recently. There is 'SW exception' showing on LED. checked the event log, the logger is trying to send email which is not anticipated. below is part of the service data.
many thanks for your help.

Hello,
i use a DT85 to log meteorological data to an usb Stick.
At some point after around 2 months the DBD file seems to get corrupted somehow. dump_dbd and the logger itself cant convert it to csv.
I dont know the reason although i am suspecting an issue with the usb stick which i now changed.
But i still have the dbd file which maybe still contains some data.
From dump_dbd

I have remote access to a DT85 with S/N 106343 and firmware version 9.18. Due to flash expiry I can no longer access the web interface via a local raspberry pi, however I can access via FTP. My questions are:
What is the series of DT85 corresponding to this serial number?
How can I upgrade the firmware over FTP?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I want to use strain gauges on the DT85 and CEM20 device. The strain gauges we will use have a quarter bridge. Does the DT85 device and the CEM20 device have a wheatstone bridge? Or will we use resistors ourselves to make the rest of the devices a full bridge?

Hello,
I am using a DT85 Series 4 with DEX-2.
I have some schedules logging every minute on the 0th second of the minute, which is done by default when using the 1M timing in the DXC code, e.g.:
RC"Schedule_CJB-RTDs" ("B:", DATA:OV:10MB, ALARMS:OV:100KB:W60) 1M
However, I wish to have other schedules logging every minute but on the 30th second, so that the records would look like
It seems the dEX-2 software can't compile dxc files containing the running average function. Is this a bug?
I've tried adding the RAV option to a thermocouple channel and I can't upload the program to my DT80 anymore, as it kept telling me compilation failure.

'Generated by new dEX-2

RA"Schedule_A"("b:",ALARMS:OV:100KB:W60,DATA:OV:1MB)5S

Can you guide me how to upgrade the software and what will be the proper tool to convert the RS232 to USB?

Just setting up a DT85 to read a Type K thermocouple.
The DT85 has been updated to v9.22 and I can see the relevant data via Dex-2 software.
However when I try to set up a guage in Dex-2 for the thermocouple, I'm unable to select the channel in the software.
What am I missing??
