last week we encountered a problem with out DT80-3.
For no apparent reason it stopped logging, and on the display it said 'Cannot log - File error':

Do you know what can cause this, and how we can prevent it from happening in the future?

Hi Paul,

It is possible there was a firmware exception event previously that happened because of the power cycle at the time of memory writing. At a very rare occurrence, it may cause a database error. Or you may have a faulty memory module.

Can you please send me the logger's service log to datataker.support@thermofisher.com?
