Is it possible to use only three external completion resistors for all the twelve analog channels in order to connect quarter-bridge strain gages?
Thanks,
Luciana
Hi,
Is there any information about the vibration levels that DT800 can perform its operation successfully when exposed? Can we use DT800 in flight test? Has anyone used DT800 under severe vibration conditions?
Thanks.

Good afternoon!
I would like to read a voltage from a LVDT with DT800 but I am afraid I am not using the correct channel type. I am using voltage channel type.
Could you please explain me the difference between the V and VNC channel type stated on page 63 of the user's manual? What is the meaning of the "with zero correction" statement on the first line of the table?
Best regards,
I have successfully been using the DT800 to log & download Pressure data from 4 channels for the last 12 months until today?!
The data won't let me connect to my laptop via the USB cable. The error is "Auto baud detection rate not found", of course one is then automatically disconnected. I have tried forcing the connection, and then also resetting the properties on the connection setting
I am using a DT800 in the 4-Wire BGV Input mode (Five Half-Bridges on a Channel Pair). Cable length = 24 metres, 3 core screened. I am using high quality 350 ohm resistors for bridge completion at the DT800.
Screen not connected to anything at the strain gauge sensors, but connected to Gu at DT800. P46=10. Operating in 50 Hz environment. Noise typical = 25 ppm or more. Sampling frequency abo
We have a memory card that had been working 2 days ago, and now it is not. When you plug it in, the DT800 says Success: Card Insertion.
Then, when you do anything to engage the card it says Attention: No card inserted (in blue).

Hi,
We are using DT800 for 2 months. While trying to get RPM data from laser tachometer of PCB (which generates 1Vpp difference on voltage), I think we have damaged the Digital channel 1.
We have supplied the power 24VDC-20mA to tachometer using external power supply and connected the + and - cables of tachometer to D1(+) and Gd(-). We have applied same connection several times using an
Is there a way of including prior measured lead resistance into thermistor measurement description setup for a two wire measurement (similar as how parallel shunt resistor is included)?
This could default to zero but when known allow for a more correct temperature calculations to be performed particular at the higher temperatures (lower thermistor resistance region where lead resistance has
Hi there,
I want to access the DT800 wireless with the radio 905U-D and unload data. Therefore, I connected the Ethernet port of the DT800 to the radio and the other radio with Ethernet cable to my PC.
Then I use DeLoad to unload data. Unfortunately DT800 starts unloading data regardless of the state of the radio connection. So when I lost connection temporarily, I lost my data.

Hi,
I have a problem with a startup program. I load a program with DeLogger over RS232 onto the dataTaker. The last line in the program after the job is RUNJOBONRESET"PK13".
So once I disconnect the power from the datataker and reconnect, it should continue taking data. This works fine only if I delete some comments. If I don't, the program still runs when I upload it, but not on startu
Hi,
I have a problem with my DT800. The logging became suddenly very slow, and even a reset to the factory settings didn't help. The problem is not writing to CF-Card or sending data to the Computer where I watch the samples in DeLogger.
It is the acquiring of data (light is showing busy most of the time). I also tried to reload the firmware, but also no change. I'm far away of the samp
Hi,
Every time I need to change the program it needs to be tested on a real dataTaker, preferably with all the equipment connected.
Wouldn't it be nice and time saving(!) if you could simulate a dataTaker by a software package wherein analog inputs can be controlled by voltages, digital outputs are visualized by LEDs, digital inputs and counters can be controlled by switches.

Hi guys,
We have used a DT80 to collect data sent by serial sensor, it works at 10 Hz at least. There is no problem when collect the data and save it in its internal memory.
The problem is when we set another schedule to copy all data from its internal memory to a USB disk which is connected all the time, the logger cannot keep up the the sensor's output and some data lost for some peri
Good day Roger,
The DT800 and other DT800's refuses to make a folder <B> in its internal memory and on the flash card. The folders of all other schedules were made though. If I load another program into memory, there is no problem, but I cannot find the problem. Can you help?
Kind regards,
Gerben
Hi,
Help!! Please tell me, how can I measure pressure with DT800. We have the sensor model 3277: http://www.tecsis.de/filestore.aspx/de700.pdf?pool=website&type=file&id=833ae8a0-7d35-45c8-899b-11641fc94082&lang=en&filetype=default

The DT800 we are using always stops logging data after logging about 1,6 MB of data. It is apparently logging into a 1 GB card, so the /o switch should not trigger as there is plenty of space to log into. Has anyone experienced such a problem?
Can it a configuration problem or a problem with the data card?

I need to log temperature at 1 second intervals over a 5 minute period after receiving a digital input. There is no problem with getting the logging to start after the digital input, but not having much luck with getting it to stop.
Any info would be a great help.
Thanks
I having trouble setting up the DT800 to get correct readings from a thermistor. I'm using a 100 kOhm at 25 degC.
At first I set it up without entering info into the thermistor tab with the channel set at YS06 which I thought was the closest to what i had and was able to get the readings to change (read temp as -26C at room temp).
But once i entered data into the thermistor tab I it rea
Hi,
Can i program the DT800 to log the time in secs and continue to add the time the DS in on =1. I was thinking along the lines of sending the DS to a CV and an alarm on the CV but how to count the time.
Any suggestions?
Stephen
Hi,
I have an application where power is being monitored which i have functioning OK but I need to log how long in secs the power is switched on. I have the output from a power transducer scaled and converted to kWh.
The power being switched by relay from a DSO how can I monitor On Time. I have tried the example from the online code examples

Hi,
I have copied a folder from within the project folder from a customers PC which he also then emailed me as i could not open it.
When I try to open the project Delogger tells me that there is Insufficient memory to open the project and then Delogger closes down this is what happens on an XP operating system and on vista OS.
The customer has asked me to make some changes to the p
Hi,
I have two DT800 loggers which are both connected to a network through an Ethernet connection. i am connecting to the network from a PC in the office about 50 meters from the loggers.
All works well the live data can be streamed through and viewed in real-time but I cannot get the mimic to work at all from this connection as when I open the mimic window it displays the mimic dials/re
Before you read this - I'm pretty much feeling my way in this area - so have pity if my errors are obvious and basic...
I have a load cell, which provides its data to an LED display. I want to also log the load it registers using my DT800. The LED unit has terminals: Signal +/- and Excitation +/- Excitation is 10 VDC.
If I connect Signal +/- to the dataTaker on a channel type V, I get g
Hi,
I have compiled the following piece of code using Delogger Pro to actuate a relay when alarm conditions are met in 50CV and in 15CV 16CV & 17CV and I have grouped the three CVs together as in start channel 15 end channel 17CV.
Is this correct that the alarm will be true if the 50CV is met and less than 16C in the further 3 CVs individually or should I separate the 3 CVs and put
Hi,
Can I set up a mimic to view the reading in a channel variable. if so how as in the edit mode in the mimic window when I search for this channel I don't find it.

Hi,
I have a DT800 of which i am using the 8 digital output channels drive relays for switching plant. The problem I have is that I require a further 2 digital output channels to drive 2 more relays any suggestions as to what I can do.

Hi,
I have just compiled the program example below which is switching on and off equipment through relays with digital output channels based on certain conditions being met.
At present I cannot test this program and therefore just wanted to check the syntax and general program is OK.

Hi Roger,
I was wondering what programming language is used in programming the DT800, as i would like to learn how to program the DT800 and not only use Delogger interface. From many of the code examples and solutions to questions asked here in the forum it seems knowing programming code would be most helpful.
Regard's,
Stephen
Hi,
I am fairly new to the dt800 logger and therefore have done no training with regards to programming.
I have an application where i am monitoring power consumption using three power transducers outputting an analogue 0+10V signal back to the dt800 where i am adding the data form the three transducers within a channel variable to give me total power from the three.
I need to conv
