Hi,
We have an old 515 and we noticed that the "wake up" and poll command on our master program is using the same command that it uses on all the others (which are DT80G)
My question is does the 515 require a different command? and if so what would it be?

For 8 years we have installed a DT50 Firmware 7.04. It works fine until now.
Problem: The logger set the date from 09/10/2012 06:00:00 to 18/10/2034 12:00:00 (next scan - interval 6h) by itself.
The logger have an external 6V backup battery.
Can it be the internal battery is empty?
Thanks for comments

Hello,
I am trying to address a client request to "lock out" operators from making changes to a DeLogger project file.
The client wishes to restrict users to connecting to the host DT800 and viewing the mimic data.
Is there any feature within DeLogger 5 Pro which allows this?
Based on Google's cache of the previous forum (thank you, Google!) I have stumbled upon using Actions.
Hi,
I have installed from disc marked Delogger 4 pro. But when loaded it seams to be only Delogger 4 not, Delogger 4 pro!
I have re-installed it twice now and still it tells me its Delogger 4 running. I also do not have to functions of Delogger 4 pro, help!
Is there something else hidden on the disc I need to install or, is it in the install setting some where?
Do I need to update
Hi,
I have been using DE Logger for 8 months with a DT80 and DT800 with not problems.
Suddenly I am no longer able to connect to the loggers via serial connection with DELogger5.
I am still able to connect via TCP from DElogger, and interestingly I am still able to connect via serial through DETransfer so its not a serial port issue.
There seems to be very little configuration for se
Hi,
I have a chart with 6 Channels showing - (DT800, connected via 100m Ethernet). They are all reading great however the longer it runs the further behind the chart seems to get.
I want to see the chart in real time as we have the monitor on our test bench and we need to see the reactions to changes we make to our test bed in real time.
The only way to get the chart view up to real t

Dear Sirs
I have an old DT5 event count from datataker.
Unfortunately the computer that has the communication software is broken.
Does anyone in forum has the communication software (I think is called DATA-i) or commands protocol to communicate with it by parallel port and other application?
I only need configure the sample interval and getting data.

How to connect quarter bridge strain gauge connection and take measurements in uE? do you have video?
I have connected a strain gauge to channel 4. in configuration, I have added current bridge, selected appropriate current bridge and channel. After downloading the data I have got a value of 500,930.5. this is a huge value.
If I press the strain gauge I can see the variations however, the
We have been working with DT's for a long time, but this is our first time working with a MODBUS device and need some help.
Usually when we write schedules, we do a polling schedule at 15 seconds where we read all our sensors and do calculations, and a reporting schedule at 15 minutes that reports sums/averages as appropriate. (EX: RA15S, RB15M)
The issue we are having is that in all the l
Hello,
I was wondering it is possible to use DT85 to control a solid state relay ( e.g. control voltage 24V, 13mA) through dEX web interface? If possible could you please share with me how to set a job on dEX or point me to a link. Thank you very much.
With regards

Morning,
I have been trying to wire a Other Brand 107 thermistor probe into a DT85, the manual (found here: http://s.campbellsci.com/documents/us/manuals/107.pdf) states that the probe is around 100Kohm at 25°C and should be wired as a single ended sensor. With the DT85 only being able to read up to 10 kohm we tried to wire a 10 kohm resistor in parallel to step the resistance down into a
I'm talking to a DT85 programmatically via TCP via csharp & Windows 7. I send a COPYD command to the DT85.
Then I send a 29SV to see if the CopyD is complete, & if so, I then fetch the file. I do this on a timed basis.
This usually works very well. However, after running for awhile, the 29SV starts returning code= -30 = communications queue is full

In the manual it says to plug the DT85 in to the computer and Windows Found new Hardware program will install it, but this programs returns an error saying the drivers cannot be installed. Hi
I am currently trying to set up a program with counter inputs from an energy meter. I have setup the inputs fine and also used +CV command to accumulate the kWh.
What i want to do now is to setup another schedule to calculate the daily kWh reading whereby I read the counter input every second and add this to a +cv and run another schedule at 1 day interval to give the one daily readi

Dear Sir,
we are using DT85 for measuring strain gauges (full bridge) for load measurement. when we are configuring channel 1 , 2 and 3 for BGV and not connecting any strain gauges, we are getting reference error. this implies no gauge is connected. this is ok. but when we are connecting one strain gauge to channel 1 and no strain gauge is connected to 2 and 3 channels - we are getting say

Hi All,
Just want to say that I'm a newbie using the DT85, but we're very pleased with the performance. I have two immediate questions.
1) on page 26 of the DT85 manual it describes the format of the CSV format of the logged data, and it appears by default that the date is included as part of the timestamp. My logged data only contains the time, no date. How do I correct that?
2)What
Hi,
I am trying to communicate via the RS232 host_port with a controller. The controller uses ASCII protocol (38k4, 8N1). With hyperterminal I can communicate with the controller, I get an answer back. With the datataker I get a timeout on the read.
The command I use is: 2SERIAL("\e{:06040401210120\013\010}%s[1$]"). When I send the command to hyperterminal, it looks if it has the correct

Hello everybody!
I have trouble programming dataTaker DT85.
I would like to make a job with 4 different schedules:
First schedule should start every monday at 00:00 til 09:00 am.
It should sample and log data (voltage) every 10 min and put digital outputs 1D and 2D in to a known state.
I had an idea how should it look:

I am using DT85 for Voltage and Temperature Monitoring and use ONISERT.DXC file but DT85 accept only SCANDISK 4GB disk. If I wan to use other Brans it does not recognize. So please Tell me that Weather DT85 recognize only Scandisk Flash drive or other bran also.

I was given a DT85 series 2 at work but I cannot connect it to the computer. The problem is that it constantly disconnects and reconnects every 5-10 seconds (it is connected to its ac adapter, which is working fine because i tested it on another DT85).
I don't know if it is a firmware problem but even if it is I can't update the firmware because of the constant disconnections and when I trie
Good Morning Rudy,
Please guide me, that I want to use mV input with 0.5s frequency and Temperature with 1 minute frequency then do some calculation using these input. Is it possible in one DT85 in one program Schedule or I need to write Schedule A for mV and Schedule B for Temperature and then these data can be use for calculated out put.

Hi,
I've been using a DT85 series 3 with 4 CEM20 and I'm logging temperatures using RTD sensors.
I don't really care, is it possible to log and store my data in two different files, once every hour and average per day?
I've done some research on the DT85 manual but I can't find is it possible to configure the DT85 with two job's?
What I need is hours and daily data in two different
