Hi all,

I am trying to make several thermocouple measurements using J-type thermocouples connected to a DT85 through a CEM20. Right now, I am just testing out the sensors so I tried connecting them straight to the DT85 and also through the CEM20 and both REFT and 1REFT readings are coming out Overrange, leading to an error in my thermocouple reading. Do you have any idea what may be causing t

Hello,

I am very new to programming with a Datataker and have a quick question.

I have a system that when a flowrate drops below a set value (15) I run a schedule to latch the DT80 relay to backflush the system.

I would like to run this backflush schedule for a set peiod (say 5 minutes) and then return back to the normal operating state and open the relay.

I can get the unit to ha

I am measuring and logging current across 6 different channels,I need to use the logged data in my further calculation ie current measure at a particular point of time should be addressed in my calculation,is there any simple method to do this.

I have tried a method where I increment a cv for each schedule run and based on the cv value data at each schedule is transferred to different cv. Her

Hello,

We want to sent E-mail with DT80 V3
It's connected with a Huawei 4G modem / router
Modem has a fixed IP SIM card (Dutch Provider)

SMTP setting = mail.kpnmail.nl no password no username.

What are we doing wrong, and is it possible to sent E-mail with 3 or 4 G modem/router

Hi there

Im a first time user of datataker loggers and i am having some trouble in the comunication with the logger and with the programing of it

I am in a monotoring project that had a DT80 (2 series) v7.09, and know im the new "owner" of it. but i have to put 2 new sensors.

I've read the manual and i downloaded the programs that are in the Datataker site to use with it. But i fou

DT80 series 3 that I have partitioned 80 MB for the logged data.

I am recording two parameters (4-20 mA) with outputs similar to "14.325" twice per second, plus timestamp of course.

I have set the datalogger to stop when full.

How long will it log for?

Cheers

Hi,

I've recently started making use of the DT80 Series 2, but I'm having trouble connecting to it over USB with some DataTaker software. I have DeLogger, DTUSB and DeTransfer all installed, and DeTransfer seems to work fine, it connects and displays the logged data whenever a log is done (the DataTaker has been pre-programmed for another use by a colleague who isn't around now) - but DeLogge

We use a DT80 for monitoring digital state's and the analog inputs also for state value.
Is it posible to invert the values in the program. When we measuring a "1" we must recording a "0"

Hi,

I am trying to record a simple serial string to the serial sensor port at 4800 baud.

I can capture it in hyperterminal, so I know it is outputting correctly, and I am fairly confident the wiring (rx,tx, and gnd) are correct.

When I look at the value in the web interface, it says "20 State" instead of serial data.

Here is the configuration of the serial sensor port as a manual

Hi,

I am having trouble getting the logger to email me data. The manual states that the DT80 only supports email servers that "do not require SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption"

Does this not rule out most email servers? What are the alternatives to using a third party email server?

Here is the code I have written (just keeping things simple to start)

Hello Sir/Mad,

I have a problem about FTP unload data files. Sometime Data is not successfully transferred to the FTP server. There was a problem connecting to the FTP server. When FTP server is connected well again, old data is missed ( it didn't send to FTP server; The data need to be manually recovered by using dEX web interface " retrieve data" function), new data is not also transfered.

Hello everybody,

We use a DT80 V3 for temperature measurement in railway tracks
See attachment, which Parameter setting must I use for display the logged data two digits behind separate point.
And why get we these strange values sometimes (yellow marks)

Thanks

Dear Sir,
we have one datalogger DT80. it is being used for quite a long time without any issues. recently we are facing communication issues with this system.

after sending the program it starts logging but after 5 to 10 minutes the communication ports get blocked and software hangs. earlier we used delogger 5. recently we up-graded the firmware with 9.18 version firmware. but the problem

Hello All Readers
I would appreciate some guidance on how to set up dEX for the following measurement

Background: measuring the voltage from a wind turbine output which, is vague,....comes and goes at random according to the wind. Obviously, don't want to be sampling with the DT80 while the turbine is not outputting a voltage

Voltage input to DT80 is 0-10VDC

Would like to trigger a

See while using full bridge strain gauge we get output (Vout/Vexe)*10^6 ppm as But but actually we select Vexe in logger. If i select 3v for Vexe how to ensure it gives 3V exactly. When i use multimeter to measure Vexe am not getting 3V.. is there any alternate to measure Vexe??
