It's been a massive headache already and has had to go back numerous times for hardware issues & the suppliers have been somewhat less than helpful; but I'm just about at the stage where we can get the thing programmed and running.

To that end, could someone please explain to me the function of the code the unit ha

Yesterday dEX suddenly stopped working on my PC.
I connect via USB using the dtUSB program. The USB connection seems OK, unplugging/plugging in automatically opens dtUSB.

I setup an event for one of the sensors, room temperature. The trigger event is greater than, Number = 70. On Output I selected action = E-mail immediately via Ethernet.

I checked Use this Event, Repeat output, Log text and Sent to Host Port. On the Measurement channel I have the orange bell (Alarm active), but I didn't get any e-mail. Please help me to solve that problem.

Connected to dEX on a DT85m (dataTaker 85 Version 9.18.6291 Flash 2015/08/07 14:28:13) from a Chromium browser (version 60...) with pepperflash plugin on a raspberry pi. All characters are displayed as crossed rectangles (see image) apart from mouse-hover info boxes, which are displayed ok. I have tried changing browser default fonts, but this has no effect.


Wondered if this is a known

I read somewhere that the command DELDATA will be deleted from the firmware.

Does someone know from which version on this will be the case?
I want to know this because we have DataTakers series 1 running and are planning to buy new DataTakers which could mean we could getting problems with the command DELDATA.

I have 2 load cells, 0-5000 lbs on channel 3 and 0-1500 lbs on channel 4. I have interfaced each channel with BGI. I would like to know the syntax to label channel 3 as ''Balance'' and channel 4 as ''Moule à rebond''. Also, I have PPM but what is the syntax to convert to span to pounds.

I am very new to programming with a Datataker and have a quick question.

I have a system that when a flowrate drops below a set value (15) I run a schedule to latch the DT80 relay to backflush the system.

I would like to run this backflush schedule for a set peiod (say 5 minutes) and then return back to the normal operating state and open the relay.

DT80 series 3 that I have partitioned 80 MB for the logged data.

I am recording two parameters (4-20 mA) with outputs similar to "14.325" twice per second, plus timestamp of course.

I have set the datalogger to stop when full.

How long will it log for?
