Hi,
I have two DT800's out in the field which are being used to log wind data at 5 Hz over a period of several weeks. Each logger is taking half of the measurements and the plan was to later combine the two data sets.
However, I have just being processing the first months worth of data and have found that there appears to be a significant time drift between the clocks of the two loggers
Hi,
I just about to consider DT800 in an industrial application where I need to sample several discrete inputs (24VDC) and analogue inputs (4-20mA).
The total number of I/O is 214 DI and 81 AI, and I just read many forums and DT8x manuals, but I'm not quite sure how to manage it. By using standard DT800 I would need 14 units, but I'm not sure if I'm able to put them all in the same Ethe

Hi,
First of all i do follow the upgrade FAQ and i can't find doing anything wrong. But makes the first upgrade step upgrading to 316v4b. I see the bootloader starts in details then it just get stuck and i see some strange letters.
The "OK" button is just grey marked, and the loading bar haven't even started. My first problem is I have version 2 update 10 and when I lo
Hi,
Our DT800 gives FAIL for:
Analog Pos Supply 1.1 (FAIL)
Analog Neg Supply 0.7 (FAIL)
Common Mode Rejection Ratio 0.0 (FAIL)
DataTaker Health (FAIL)
Additionally we cannot take any analog signal from any analog channel. There is no problem with digital channels. We have started to get these fail messages after making several measurements using a wireless torque meter which was ins
Can DT800 use channel expansion module (CEM)?
Hi,
After getting my capacitance strain gage multiplexer system working the mechanical engineers have now given me another test!
They would like to now add 14 resistance 1/2 bridge strain gages (one active one dummy for temp. compensation) and 5 thermocouples to the all ready active one thermocouple, one full bridge gage and 4..20mA current loop running on my DT800.
I don't believe
Hi. I am new in forum.
I made a LabView program that allows me to set the analog and digital outputs of the DT800. When I set the values with a control in the front panel there weren't problems but when I tried to program a PID controller to set the VO value after a while it stopped working out.
I founded in this forum and with the deTransfer that I was receiving the E55 error message.
Hi Roger, please help!
I am using DT800 in burst mode to read accelerometer data. Take excitation from 12V Serial Channel (have to, as need the other Sensor Supply to be 5 V, while the subject one needs min 8V). Output is connected as V to +/- connections.
The setup works fine with data values below 1000 mV. However, once the acceleration values exceed that level, the logged values go "
I have been trying with out much luck to get a alarm to give a digital output which i can use as a switch and later to feed into a XSMS modem.

Help please...
I'm trying to down load alarms. My DT800 is in a remote location with a GSM modem attached. when I dial into the logger I want to be able to down load the alarm to see what has been happening before driving out to site.

Hello, there!
Just to make sure you don't delete me from the Forum, here is another little question!!! I have an accelerometer connected to DT800 as a bridge. When displayed on CHART as a graph, the output shows 3 sec Heart Beat spikes (-ve). Is that normal?
Should this accel be connected as a Voltage i/p??? For info - The bridge Sense input is 10 V and looking at the cct of the accel,
Hello everyone,
I have DT800, the problem is: I connected with thermometers and thermocouples enmallado from an electric generator, q is also connected to the datataker Sr, and the earth electric andalusia Ch.
Both online and offline probe lands but the noise continues, I have many variations of temperature. no is constant, if someone can help me.
Thank you
Hi,
I have a DT800 connected to an Ethernet network from which i am viewing real time data with the mimic screen. I have to now set up a display room for visitors to view the data from the the mimic on screen.
I have placed a PC in the room with Delogger Pro running which displays the mimics on screen for viewing. What i wish to do is to protect the DT800 program from unauthorized chang
I have a DT800 permanent linked to my PC by RS232 cables (COM1). I use DeLOAD to periodically and automatically unload the logged data.
Now I improved the monitoring system and I connected to my PC an independent accelerometer (connected at COM2). I have access to stream data of the accelerometer in a LabVIEW program.
I would like to be able to change the sample rate of the DT (1 Hz to
G'day,
I am a new user and am experiencing difficulty in having the DT800 begin logging data at a specified time. Researching the forum suggested that I use something similar to the following:
BEGIN
RA1S
ALARM1(T>15:11:00){[GA]}
ALARM2(T>15:13:00){[H]}
RA1S
1TK
LOGON
END
The DT800 has no trouble in ending its logging at 15:13:00 however it begins to log as soon as I have se
Is it possible to use only three external completion resistors for all the twelve analog channels in order to connect quarter-bridge strain gages?
Thanks,

Hi,
Is there any information about the vibration levels that DT800 can perform its operation successfully when exposed? Can we use DT800 in flight test? Has anyone used DT800 under severe vibration conditions?
Thanks.

Good afternoon!
I would like to read a voltage from a LVDT with DT800 but I am afraid I am not using the correct channel type. I am using voltage channel type.
Could you please explain me the difference between the V and VNC channel type stated on page 63 of the user's manual? What is the meaning of the "with zero correction" statement on the first line of the table?
Best regards,
I have successfully been using the DT800 to log & download Pressure data from 4 channels for the last 12 months until today?!
The data won't let me connect to my laptop via the USB cable. The error is "Auto baud detection rate not found", of course one is then automatically disconnected. I have tried forcing the connection, and then also resetting the properties on the connection setting
I am using a DT800 in the 4-Wire BGV Input mode (Five Half-Bridges on a Channel Pair). Cable length = 24 metres, 3 core screened. I am using high quality 350 ohm resistors for bridge completion at the DT800.
Screen not connected to anything at the strain gauge sensors, but connected to Gu at DT800. P46=10. Operating in 50 Hz environment. Noise typical = 25 ppm or more. Sampling frequency abo
We have a memory card that had been working 2 days ago, and now it is not. When you plug it in, the DT800 says Success: Card Insertion.
Then, when you do anything to engage the card it says Attention: No card inserted (in blue).

Hi,
We are using DT800 for 2 months. While trying to get RPM data from laser tachometer of PCB (which generates 1Vpp difference on voltage), I think we have damaged the Digital channel 1.
We have supplied the power 24VDC-20mA to tachometer using external power supply and connected the + and - cables of tachometer to D1(+) and Gd(-). We have applied same connection several times using an
Is there a way of including prior measured lead resistance into thermistor measurement description setup for a two wire measurement (similar as how parallel shunt resistor is included)?
This could default to zero but when known allow for a more correct temperature calculations to be performed particular at the higher temperatures (lower thermistor resistance region where lead resistance has
Hi there,
I want to access the DT800 wireless with the radio 905U-D and unload data. Therefore, I connected the Ethernet port of the DT800 to the radio and the other radio with Ethernet cable to my PC.
Then I use DeLoad to unload data. Unfortunately DT800 starts unloading data regardless of the state of the radio connection. So when I lost connection temporarily, I lost my data.

Hi,
I have a problem with a startup program. I load a program with DeLogger over RS232 onto the dataTaker. The last line in the program after the job is RUNJOBONRESET"PK13".
So once I disconnect the power from the datataker and reconnect, it should continue taking data. This works fine only if I delete some comments. If I don't, the program still runs when I upload it, but not on startu
Hi,
I have a problem with my DT800. The logging became suddenly very slow, and even a reset to the factory settings didn't help. The problem is not writing to CF-Card or sending data to the Computer where I watch the samples in DeLogger.
It is the acquiring of data (light is showing busy most of the time). I also tried to reload the firmware, but also no change. I'm far away of the samp
Hi,
Every time I need to change the program it needs to be tested on a real dataTaker, preferably with all the equipment connected.
Wouldn't it be nice and time saving(!) if you could simulate a dataTaker by a software package wherein analog inputs can be controlled by voltages, digital outputs are visualized by LEDs, digital inputs and counters can be controlled by switches.
Have
Hi guys,
We have used a DT80 to collect data sent by serial sensor, it works at 10 Hz at least. There is no problem when collect the data and save it in its internal memory.
The problem is when we set another schedule to copy all data from its internal memory to a USB disk which is connected all the time, the logger cannot keep up the the sensor's output and some data lost for some peri
Good day Roger,
The DT800 and other DT800's refuses to make a folder <B> in its internal memory and on the flash card. The folders of all other schedules were made though. If I load another program into memory, there is no problem, but I cannot find the problem. Can you help?
Kind regards,
Gerben
Hi,
Help!! Please tell me, how can I measure pressure with DT800. We have the sensor model 3277: http://www.tecsis.de/filestore.aspx/de700.pdf?pool=website&type=file&id=833ae8a0-7d35-45c8-899b-11641fc94082&lang=en&filetype=default
