Hello All,

I am finding a sensor which measure Flow Rate, Water Velocity and it have to connect to DT82EM via SDI-12 interface. It is Ultrasonic Doppler sensor.

If anybody knows that sensor (it have to connect to DT82EM), tell me about that please.

Hi,

I am new to DT82EM so apologies if this is an obvious question.

I would like to set a trigger that is set when an SMS is received at the internal modem of the DT82EM. Is this possible?

I had a look at the FAQ, forum, technical notes, etc but have not found anything relevant.

Just purchased a DT82EM and having huge issues with it. I upgraded to 9.10 firmware that i was told would resolve the resetting issue.
Essentially as the modem is being tested when it gets to the FTP section the datataker resets and flashes the lights. When it finishes rebooting it displays a message that the datataker was restarted and that memory was cleared.

Any thoughts on how to fix t

When I define an action channel "Email logged data" in dEX the program seems to check the validity of the receiver address, that is reasonable.
One of our customers wants to use an address which local part (left on the @) consists of numbers only (e.g. 12345@domain.de).
In this case the test is too strict, the address is only accepted if at least one character is included.

We have some DT82EM with older Firmware.
I have upgraded the logger firmware to version V9.18 first, then the modem firmware to version R7.53 (both downloaded from the Datataker website).
After updating the modem the display says "Firmware update failed", but the modem seems to work properly.
I checked the firmware version with

MODEM ON
MODEM FIRMWARE
and got the answer:
B7.

Hello All,

I am using DT82EM with Alarm SMS messages and Email Ethernet. I am using 3G network

With Email Ethernet: data (.CSV file) is send to my email. it's OK
But with Alarm SMS messages: Alarm shows " DT82EM3-3 100254: one or more alarm SMS have been lost". It doesn't show my text which i set.
I don't think i have a problem with my 3G network. I think other reason

Please help me

Hello
My first post here so go easy on me please

Question.....is it possible to setup rainflow analysis using the dEX logging software......or does it need to be done manually?

I have looked at the options and unable to find any reference to it.

Suppose I have 16 strain gauges connected to a CEM, what would the code look like to do a rainflow analysis on all these strain gauges.

pl note we are trying to configure the dex software for unloading data to a ftp site( configured using file zilla). we have thoroughly followed instruction given in manual. in command window it is shown that unload complete to the specified ftp site. however, the ftp folder contains nothing and after few seconds command window shows session queue full,

I thought i would try to use dex to reprogram our logger but we have now been having troubles connecting to the datalogger through DEX web interface. We are able to connect via FTP and also via deTransfer so the problem appears to have somethig to do with with dex or network settings.
When we attempt to bring up the web interface, the dex main page shows up, but then when we click on monitor t

Hi,

I seem to be having problems with the dEX v1.50.012. There seems to be times when the dEX doesn't generate the code it is supposed to. I've faced this problem on several occasion when using this dEX version.

For instance, I wanted to use a temperature sensor with resistive output. Whilst it would read without problem using the normal 2-wire resistance setting, the readings would go ou

When I try to set up a connection between my pc and DT80 via USB, The dex Logger software is loading properly but when I hit the configure option the following error shoots.
I have recently upgraded the firmware to the latest version ie v9.10

I need to log temperature from more than 300 thermocouple points connected to dt80's and cem module and need to activate alarm if any exceeds temperature 50 degc.

As a trial run i tried a small program with 3 thermocouple sensors ie if any of the sensor goes above 30 then 1dso should go low.but when i program using dex the alarm is working properly with the last or the third thermocouple but

I finally got Dex running but notice that my interface looks different than what I have seen on youtube videos.

My version is 1.50.012. Is there a newer version available? If so then how to I get it? I couldn't find anything concerning version updates on the DataTaker website.

Hi,

I've received this message when starting up my DT, which had already been running for some time. It states there's no active configuration. My DEX configuration was still stored, I just needed to restart the logger. I faced this issue another time when I reprogrammed a DT remotely, and noticed the next day, that the configuration wasn't active.

Anyone else faced this problem? Is there

Good morning!

I was wondering if there is a way to view a configuration file (.dex) that is saved on my computer without a dataTaker device connected (in my case, a DT85). Due to my current setup/ deployment of the data logger, it is inconvenient to spend much time with the computer down at the dataTaker. It's been a massive headache already and has had to go back numerous times for hardware issues & the suppliers have been somewhat less than helpful; but I'm just about at the stage where we can get the thing programmed and running.

Starting dEXin my browser (Firefox, Chrome) will automatically translate the graphical interface into my local language (German), regardless the language settings in the "Customize dEX" menu.
