At this moment, we cleaning up the number of unverified users as well as spams. The cleaning will also give us time to move some of the topic to the new platform.

Hi everyone,
I'm working on a React application that uses Redux for state management, and I'm integrating several third-party APIs (e.g., weather data, stock info). Since some of this data doesn't change very often, I want to implement a caching strategy to reduce the number of API calls and improve performance.
I've considered a few approaches, like:

Sir,
I am working with a dataTaker DT80 and need the full schematic diagram for troubleshooting. Could you please let me know how I can obtain it?
Hi everyone,
I’m currently working on a mobile app and want to ensure it runs smoothly across different devices. What are some effective strategies or best practices to optimize app performance during development? Are there specific tools or frameworks that you recommend for performance monitoring and improvement? Any tips on balancing performance with features would be really helpful!
Hi all,
I'm looking to connect with experienced fantasy golf app developers for a custom project. The app will need features like player drafts, live scoring, tournament integration, and leaderboard tracking.
If you’ve worked on fantasy sports apps (especially golf), I’d love to hear from you or see your portfolio.
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I’m considering whether to go with a development agency or freelancers for my online marketplace development needs. What are the pros and cons? Anyone with experience working with a freelance team for a large-scale marketplace?
Would love your input!

Sir,
We already test this scenario with TCP/IP and it works well. But when we change to RS485 sersenport, we encountered problem when doing a test MODBUS connection with RS485 sersenport and RS485-to-USB Adapter to PC.
And the Mbpoll settings to initiate the MODBUS RTU call is

Hi all,
I’m working on a custom data monitoring application and considering integrating DataTaker data loggers. Could anyone share insights on the integration process and the associated cost? Are there SDKs or APIs available, and do they require separate licensing?
Appreciate any help or documentation links!
Hi,
Before this, i just connect the OTT RLS to the DT-80 just using the SDI-12 digital channel 5D
5SDI12("Distance~m",=1CV,AD"0",R301,LM)
And I just got the parameter that I want.
Is it possible to connect the DT-80 physical RS485 (Tx & RTS) to OTT RLS using SDI-12 protocol?
Thanks.

Hello everyone,
in Germany, the first provider will switch off 2G in the summer of 2028, Is it possible to connect an external 4G modem to a DT85GM to continue sending alarms via SMS? Has anyone tested this yet? Are there any recommended modems?
Kind regards

DT 85 runs fine for about two weeks and then gets the following errors and quits logging and pushing data. I also can't connect with DE transfer via port 7700. I can connect with Dex 2 and download the data manually but it quit logging once the errors accord. Here are the errors.

Dear Sir,
In our facilities, we have several units of Datataker, namely DT80G-3 and DT85-3, used in structural health monitoring activities of bridges and other large structures.
One of the DT80G-3 suffered the effect of lightning (we deduce), and some components broke, which completely shut down the device.
We have already replaced the DC-DC converters U165 and U166 and the unit has sta
The type T thermocouples reads wrong in the DT. We confirmed the measurements all the way up to the connections on the DT 80 and they should be reading 110 to 120°F. The DT 80 though fluctuates between 49 and 84 F, with one reading a negative temperature. Other type K thermocouples connected to the DT 80 reads correct. No configuration changes were made since the time they last all worked. Th

Sir
My sensor has a modbus address like this, how do i set it in the datataker
Channel Registers Using Standard Addressing
Zero-Based One-Based +40,001 +400,001
Pressure 0 1 40001 400001
Temperature 2 3. 40003 400003
Power Supply Voltage 4 5 40005 400005
I have dt80 and have a thermistor in channel 1. It was initially giving me values at the require sample time but they appeared to be too high. While trouble shooting this , the values returned became invalid with overrange message. Different channels were tried, same result. Tried to do a resistance measurement, same result. I short circuited the input channel block screws with some copper wire.

hello.
I tried to configure my DT85 series 4 data taker using ethernet connection. After putting in IP address and port details it is still showing "device is offline" in dex 2.0 software. Also, data taker is showing "SW EXCEPTION" error. Upon checking in development tools it is showing “ERR_CONNECTION_RESET” error. Please help and explain in detail as I am using it for the first t
Hi.
I want to use the DT80 to write modbus data and send it to a modbus poll application. I have matched baud rate, data bits, stop bits, slave addresses, and registers. But I found the error "Modbus master - unexpected function id in response. Expected: 6; received: 3dataTaker 80 E130 - Modbus - unexpected function id in response".
Here is my script:

Hi
I have a DT80 series 4. I using a current bridge to read strain gauges that are connected to a bridge completion module. Is there any way for me to zero them out before taking data?
Configuring my DT85.
Have applied the first cut of all the Thermocouples that we will be logging. Applied it to the DT85 and away it goes.
Now I'm looking at using a calculation from a Thermocouple to engage a relay and turn on a cooling fan.
But I can't find any command line codes that will allow me to stop the DT85 collecting data and consuming battery power.
Is the a manual that
